Julie – you may have received a response already but knee pain during marathon training is very common. I had it happen to and had to cut back a bit. Quad work is ABSOLUTELY key!! Strong quads take the pressure off your knees. Squats and Lunges – Squats and Lunges! Whatever you do don’t use weight machines! Free weights only!
